Vol.7 (2018)
Volume 7 of the International Journal of Cell Science and Biotechnology saw continued growth in both submission quality and thematic diversity. Single-cell genomics and transcriptomics began influencing research directions published in this volume, reflecting global shifts in methodological sophistication. Research on cellular stress responses, particularly endoplasmic reticulum stress and the unfolded protein response, gained prominence. Contributions addressing biotechnological applications in veterinary medicine, including vaccine development and disease diagnostics using molecular tools, illustrated the applied scope of the journal. The volume also featured work on microbiome-host cell interactions, linking gut biology with systemic health. Volume 7 consolidated IJCSB's reputation as a responsive, peer-reviewed journal embracing both fundamental and applied dimensions of modern biotechnology.
