Volume 2 consolidated the International Journal of Cell Science and Biotechnology's position as a reliable open-access publication in the life sciences. Building on its inaugural success, this volume expanded its thematic scope to include advances in protein trafficking, vesicle biology, autophagy, and mitochondrial function. Research on cryopreservation of germplasm and somatic cell banking gained particular attention, reflecting growing biotechnological interest in genetic resource conservation. The journal welcomed contributions from veterinary and agricultural biotechnology sectors, broadening its interdisciplinary reach. Volume 2 also refined its peer-review processes, ensuring rigorous scientific standards. The growing author base reflected increasing recognition of IJCSB within national and international academic communities during this formative period.
