Volume 14 of IJCSB published pioneering research reflecting the most advanced frontiers of cell biology and biotechnology in 2025. Contributions on programmable cell therapies, including next-generation CAR-T and CAR-NK constructs, showcased remarkable progress in cellular immunotherapy. Research on epigenome editing, RNA-based gene regulation, and tissue-specific gene delivery using novel lipid nanoparticles featured prominently. Environmental biotechnology contributions addressed bioplastic synthesis, carbon capture using engineered microalgae, and biosensor development for pollution monitoring. Advances in human organ-on-chip technologies and vascularised organoid models were notably represented. The volume also included important agricultural biotechnology research on precision breeding and genomic selection. Volume 14 affirmed IJCSB's position as a credible, forward-looking open-access journal in the global life sciences community.
