Volume 11 of IJCSB embraced emerging research paradigms shaping the post-pandemic life sciences landscape. Contributions on immunological memory, B and T cell biology in the context of vaccination, and mucosal immunity reflected ongoing scientific interest in pandemic-derived insights. Research on exosome therapeutics, cell-based cancer immunotherapy, and CAR-T cell technology demonstrated the translational momentum in biotechnology. Environmental biotechnology research, including studies on plastic-degrading microorganisms and bioremediation using engineered cells, addressed global sustainability challenges. Advances in CRISPR base editing and prime editing appeared in several contributions, reflecting the rapidly evolving gene editing field. Volume 11 showcased IJCSB's continued capacity to publish cutting-edge, societally relevant research across its multidisciplinary scope.
